The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency (KGCSDA), the implementing Agency for the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s Community and Social Development Project (CSDP) in Kogi State has applauded the Chief Administrator of Ajaokuta, Prince Aliyu Mustapha Akaaba .
This commendation is coming after a team of the agency led by the General Manager, Mallam Momoh Dauda visited Ajaokuta LGA on Friday on familiarization visit.
The team took time to assess the ongoing building of a new ultra modern secretariat in Adogo, and commends the Administration of Prince Aliyu Mustapha Akaaba for initiating such projects and many more despite struggling with dwindling resources.
In his address, Mallam Momoh said the agency will be training many indigenous people of the benefiting LGAs with the necessary knowledge and skills for gender consideration and how to improve their access to available social and infrastructural services.
Recall that in September 2018, The World Bank in collaboration with the Kogi State government has identified seven local government areas in the state for special intervention in the areas of social and infrastructural development for vulnerable groups.
The benefitting local government areas are Okene, Okehi, Ibaji, Ijumu, Kogi, Olamaboro and Ajaokuta local government areas respectively.
Present at the event are Hon Aka’aba A. Abbas , Chief of Staff to the Administrator, Hon David Adevoh, Hon Diyo Oyibo, Hon Momoh Ovanebira, Hon Michael Aparimoh, Hon Femi Joel, many LGA officials, SSAs, SAs, and staff of the LGA.
