Ajaokuta Agog as Aka’aba Launches Another Phase of Empowerment

The Chief Administrator of Ajaokuta LGA, Prince Aliyu Mustapha Akaaba, known for his penchant for human development and empowerment, has yesterday the 23rd of November 2018 brought another big bang in human development to his people.

Ajaokuta local government area was agog yesterday as Ajaokutans witnessed what one of the beneficiaries described as “another level of increase in human empowerment, development acceleration, one which Ajaokuta LGA has never witnessed”.

The empowerment was designed to provide mobility for staff of the LGA and also as a support structure for youth empowerment and development acceleration across the fourteen (14) wards of the local government area.

The Chief Administrator described the empowerment program as the first batch of the phase two of Human empowerment programs where mobility and other machines for mechanized farming were distributed. It is worthy of note, that over 400 motorcycles were distributed to staff and youths of the Local government in the first phase of this empowerment.

Prince Aka’aba urged the beneficiaries to make use of the machines in a way that will benefit the local government area, he stated that the distribution process was free of any divisive consideration as the interest of Ajaokuta LGA was the priority.

Many at event shower praises on the Young Administrator, one of the beneficiaries thanked Prince Aka’aba and stated that this empowerment will now open a new business opportunity for him that will allow him and other beneficiaries to take care of themselves and their entire family.

Mr Kekere Omuya, the Local government Routine Immunization Officers (LIO), while answering questions from newsmen said” this empowerment will enable many of our staff to be early at work and this will in turn affect the quality of their job in a positive way, what the young Prince has done here today will remain indelibly in the hearts of the beneficiaries and the people of Ajaokuta LGA”.

Head of departments of Agric, Health and Education were among the staff that benefited from the empowerment, others are Hon. Samson Bako, representative of Hon. Lawal Idrisu, House of Rep. Ajaokuta Constituency, Hon. Baba Ali, APC Women Leader, Many Ward Chairpersons, many youth of the LGA and other major stakeholders in the LGA.

Government delegation, Union representatives, Independent observers, representatives of NGOs, Local government Officials led by the Chief of Staff to the Administrator, Hon. Aka’aba A. Abbas, Secretary to the LGA, Hon. Abdulmalik Nasiru , Hon. Achuja Otuwayine Nasiru Cashier of the LGA, Rt. Hon. Balogun Hussein, Chairman, APC Ajaokuta LGA Chapter, Supervisor for Health, Agriculture, works and other departments, officials of various security agencies, representative of APC Kogi State Chapter, Hon. Jibril Abu, Chairman, Elders Advisory Committee, Hon. Samson Bako, SSA Political Hon. Lamidi Adabara and a host of other major stakeholders graced the event.
